Trek Malvern

Join Arthritis Action on this wonderful Trek across the Malvern Hills and support those living with arthritis. The charity is marking it’s 80th Anniversary with a series of events throughout the year and this is your opportunity to join in. The best hiking trails in the Malvern Hills explore the main ridge and gentle slopes, made up of fifteen distinct summits. The views are astounding, especially once the hills reach their zenith at the top of the Worcestershire Beacon at 1,394ft (425 m). To the south west, the gentle hills of the Cotswolds roll into the distance, whilst to the west the hills of Herefordshire are backed by distant Welsh mountains.

There are two routes on the day:

The challenge

Distance: 9 or 18 miles / 14.6km or 29.3km

Ascent: 3200ft or 6400ft / 978m or 1956m

Time: 6 or 12 hours

Start/Finish: North Quarry on North Hill car park

Parking: small charge at the car park
