The August Move Maker award goes to Concord Rangers Girls U14’s for their achievement in recently being crowned champions of the Southend Junior League Division D. Competing in the same league as boy’s teams a year younger, Concord Rangers have been a pioneer for breaking down the stereotypes surrounding girls’ football. Their teamwork, resilience and hard work is a true inspiration for any girl who wants to begin their journey in football across Essex.

Getting inspiration from the recent success from the Lionesses’, our girls have shown a great sense of togetherness and hard work to be crowned champions of the league. Their attitude for going against social expectations in football, has been inspirational and they should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved over the last year” Sofian Davis – Concord Rangers Girls Manager
