50 miles of NEW hyper-local walking routes launched in Chelmsford, Brentwood and Harlow.
Active Essex has launched 50 miles of hyper-local digital walking trails in partnership with walking app, Go Jauntly, in a bid to support the physical and mental wellbeing of residents. These walks have been curated as part of the Find Your Active campaign, which is all about helping Essex residents find an activity that suits them.
The walks span across Chelmsford, Brentwood and Harlow and consist of family-friendly puzzle trails, accessible step-free walking routes, dog friendly jaunts and longer routes for more confident walkers.
Hana Sutch, CEO and Co-Founder at Go Jauntly, said: “We’re thrilled to launch even more walking routes in Essex. We know getting out and about walking each day can be a struggle for some, but we’re hoping these new walking routes will inspire users to explore local gems on foot.”
Juliette Raison, Relationship Manager at Active Essex, said: “Walking does wonders for our physical and mental wellbeing, and Essex has so many beautiful green and blue spaces to explore, many of which are already available on the Go Jauntly app. By launching these varied new walking routes across Harlow, Brentwood and Chelmsford, we aim to make walking more accessible for residents, making it easier to find and navigate trails that are suitable for their needs.”
