My name is Scarlett and I am so excited to be a Move With Us Ambassador.

My passion is football. I went from never having kicked a ball to being obsessed in a very short time span! I was in a yoga class at primary school watching the boys play football out of the window. I told my mum I would like to try football and it and rest is history. Three years later I play for two teams, Girls U14 FCEvolution & Girls U15 Perry Street Pumas.

I have always been active but when I started secondary school I discovered I was also good at other sports including cross country, athletics, rugby & cricket. My teachers at Plume Academy have been so supportive and encouraging. I love that my body is strong and can do amazing things. Sport keeps my body and my mind healthy, it gives me confidence and makes me happy.

Outside of football I am a Marine Cadet. I have learned lots of skills and gained qualifications in sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, fieldcraft, caving, PT – the list is endless.

I want to share my experiences and inspire/empower others, especially girls, to be more active. Through football I have gained so many female role models and that’s what I want to be to others – if you see it you can be it!!
