Hello, I’m Eloise and I am eleven years old. I’ve just finished primary school and I am excited and nervous to begin secondary school. I am really proud to have been chosen as a Move with Us ambassador and I believe that everyone has a physical activity they can love, they just need to find it!

I love dance and I am a Ballroom and Latin dancer, I tried many different sports and activities before I found the one I really love. I have made many friends at Swann School of Dance in Harwich and I’ve also been able to meet lots of dancers from across England at local and national dance competitions. Dance teaches me to be strong, to be confident (even when it isn’t always easy) and to be resilient.

I want to spread the love of movement of all types and I want to support and build confidence in other young people to try new things.

At primary school I had periods where I was very anxious, I was trained to be a Thrive Ambassador and led on games at break time that helped younger children make friends and interact with each other. I would love to be able to continue using the skills I picked up. I am also a Brownie Helper at my local Brownies group and help the leaders with games and activities.

I think that confidence is often the biggest reason children and young people fear trying new things and I want to try and encourage people to find what they love. I am very excited to be part of the Move with Us Ambassador team.
