Dan Doherty is currently the NHS Alliance Director for Mid Essex and joined the board in May 2021. Dan is a physiotherapist in the NHS and has been a Director in the local NHS for many years. His wealth of experience, was particularly vital in helping the NHS in its response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Dan has a passion for all forms of physical activity, a keen climber, hill walker and outdoor enthusiast. When asked what sport his passion is, he replied: “I love all sport and physical activity, but rugby is my real passion. A game for all shapes and sizes, all abilities and with a set of values you just can’t beat it!”
