As chief executive officer of Parkinson’s UK, Caroline leads Europe’s largest organisation representing people with Parkinson’s disease, with a 40,000-strong membership and a turnover of around £45m. The charity is dedicated to working for the Parkinson’s community, supporting and driving better care, treatments and quality of life for those living with the disease.

Caroline took on the position at Parkinson’s UK in September 2021, bringing a wealth of experience gained through extensive senior leadership roles in a number of large organisations across a public and charity sector career spanning more than 30 years. These include chief executive, chief finance officer and senior executive leadership roles in major NHS commissioning bodies, central government,  local government and charities.

Caroline is an authentic leader who is driven by the communities which she serves.   

Caroline is also a trustee at Farleigh Hospice, the Senior Independent Board Member of Active Essex and a member of the Audit Committee of the University of London.   Caroline is an avid parkrunner and proud to have achieved her parkrun alphabet.
